Parkinson Blackwell have designed and produced a range of oak, thatched summerhouses which will compliment any park, garden, or provide a retreat and focal point on the golf course.
The classic Victorian designs are not only highly attractive but also practical and durable. We have used highly skilled local craftsmen in the construction of the fine oak structure, with each joint pegged and doweled and finished to a very high standard.
Each gazebo can accommodate four people and can be oiled, painted or finished to your own specification.
Each design has a raised deck floor, ornate balustrade and can be supplied with internal benches.
The roof has a 12" coat of real thatch, which is fixed to a traditional roof structure with thatching nails and steel sways. The thatch is hard wearing reed, which will last and mature over many years. Thatched roofs are cool in hot conditions due to its high insulation qualities and will offer a welcome retreat in more inclement weather.
The finished thatch is sealed with a copper capping and has an ornamental finial, which will reduce the need for any maintenance and will colour down to a beautiful shade of green over time.
